How To Bring The Multitudes For Ministry
A Ten-Week Leadership Training Series Focusing On Equipping Christians For Ministry Every Wednesday Evening From 7:00 To 8:30 PM Beginning April 26th and Ending on June 28th, 2000
Sponsored By:
Midweek School of the Bible
Calvary Temple
200 S. University Blvd.
(At Alameda & University)
Everyone is invited – this will be a city-wide ministry.
The basic format for each evening will include about a fifty-minute teaching from the Bible, then personal ministry time will be provided, to pray for the sick and oppressed. The study will focus mostly on the gospels of Matthew and Luke and the book of Acts. In this series we will examine such topics as: Who brought out the multitudes? What principles made the ministry of Jesus Christ so effective? What factors caused the gathering of “great multitudes”? How was the ministry of Jesus Christ carried on with the same results, even after He returned to Heaven? What did Jesus teach concerning the Kingdom of God, and what are the implications for Christians today? Who is to accomplish what is commanded in the Great Commission? What can Christian leaders do to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ? How can we achieve significant growth in home Bible studies, prayer groups, ministries, churches, and even businesses?

The Teacher For This Series:
John L. Witwer
Bible Teacher, Author, Radio Host and Businessman.
John and Diane Witwer and their family members, by the grace of God, have survived many things, including: bombs from foreign warplanes, treads of tanks, machine gun bullets, the Cuban missile crisis, an accident with a circular saw, spinal meningitis, two demolished cars, a few motorcycle accidents, migraine headaches, a devastating lawsuit, hyaline membrane disease, numerous operations - sometimes with no anesthesia, and more. Through all of these things, they sought God and received His victory and restoration.
John and Diane hosted home prayer groups and have been involved in leadership training for over two decades. John has been chairman of more than twenty crusades and conventions, currently teaches weekly on KLT Radio 670am, and is the Publisher of the Denver Church Guide. He teaches seminars and has been in management consulting for thirty-five years. He is a trained civil engineer, was an officer in the USMC, and holds an MBA from The Stanford University Graduate School of Business. John and Diane have seven children, experienced God’s healing power many times, and enjoy training the Body of Christ. John and Diane are encouragers. They have seen many believers launched into ministries and rejoiced as a number have been called to be pastors. They focus particularly on mentoring younger men and women, and helping to prepare them for leadership and ministry tomorrow.
